New Pokemon Snap Coming to Nintendo Switch

The Pokemon Company has announced during the most recent Pokemon Presents live stream event a new game exclusive to the Nintendo Switch, the New Pokemon Snap. The game is developed by Bandai Namco and will be exclusive to the latest handheld console of the Nintendo, the Switch.

The New Pokemon Snap video game is a reworked title, from the ground up, based on the Pokemon Snap video game that was first released back in March of 1999. It was a game that revolves around taking pictures of Pokemon in a first-person rail shooter and simulation game developed by HAL Laboratory and Pax Softnica. The 1999 Pokemon Snap was released for the Nintendo 64 platform and it was a title that originally started out as a non-Pokémon game called Jack and the Beanstalk.

Nintendo is now doing a rework on the said title for the Switch console. The New Pokemon Snap video game will let players seek out and take in-game pictures of various Pokemon in their native environments. Players will be able to travel into unknown islands with beautiful scenery like lush jungles and sandy beaches. One of the main goals that the player has to partake in completing the Pokemon Photodex.
