Persona 4 was once considered one of the best RPG video games of all time. It was published by Altus for the PlayStation 2 in 2008. The game was first released in the US in 2008 and a year after in Europe.
The game was well regarded by critics and was acclaimed as one of the greatest video games of all time. An enhanced version of the game was later released in 2012 for the PlayStation Vita and was called Persona 4 Golden.
The enhanced version of the game has now made its way to the PC platform via Steam and is available as a standard version for $19.99 or a deluxe edition, which includes the digital soundtrack and art book, for $24.99. The game’s launch on PC is a first for the Persona series and we are hoping to get more Persona video games ported to the PC. For now, majority of the titles in the Persona series will remain exclusive to the PlayStation platform.
Players can expect a drastic improvement in terms of in-game graphics and performance. Other than having the support for larger resolution of up to 1440p, the PC edition of the game will support unlocked frame rates, 16 by 9 wide aspect ratio, smoother gameplay, and along with Steam achievements as well as trading cards. The game will also support both Japanese and English language for audio and text.
