One of the most anticipated RPG game to be released this year is Cyberpunk 2077. An open-world, action-filled adventure with a story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour, and body modification.
The game is developed by CD Projekt Red, the studio behind the popular and award-winning game, the The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Release Date
Cyberpunk 2077 was originally set to be released on April 16th, 2020 but due to the difficulties caused by the threat of COVID-19, the game was pushed back to September 17th, 2020.

In-Game Microtransactions
According to the developers, there won’t be any form of microtransactions for the game. They also mentioned that they value the freedom of the player when playing their games. Which they proudly announced that DLCs will be free for the game just like how they did it for the Witcher 3 game.
In their E3 2018 trailer, an image is shown that enacts a video of being hacked. If you look closer and read the texts in red, they are actually answering common questions about the game which includes the question “Microtransactions?” and an answer “In a single player role-playing game? Are you nuts?” as an Easter egg.
Cyberpunk 2077 Collector’s Edition
The game will also be available in collector’s edition which includes more exclusive items such as statue of the game’s protagonist, metal keychain, pin sets, stickers, compendium, collector’s edition box, hardcover art book, steelbook, and all of the items that we mentioned above.
The collector’s edition will be available at your favorite local stores for US$249.99.
Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition Xbox One

The Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition will include a custom paneling, a specialized paint job, glow-in-the-dark graffiti, an LED light, and laser etching. To match the console’s design, a two-tone controller inspired by the Keanu Reeves character Johnny Silverhand and is already available for US$74.99.
Is Cyberpunk 2077 coming to Switch?
Right now, there are no confirmations from the developers if the game will be ported to Nintendo Switch. However, since the game The Witcher 3 was made available for the platform, we expect Cyberpunk 2077 will be so too in the future.
Gameplay
As of this writing, Cyberpunk 2077 is an immersive first-person shooter game. It’s not your ordinary FPS game as the game incorporates various features to bring a unique gaming experience. For example, one can take enhancing shots to eliminate enemies faster or evade bullets by seeing the trajectory of the shots.
There are more into it than the combat system. We highly recommend watching the 48 minutes gameplay video.
One key aspect of the game that CD Projekt Red values are the decision making of the players. As you progress through the game story, you’ll encounter events that will greatly affect the outcome of the story depending on the actions and decisions you make. Because of this, the game will have multiple different ending. Similar to how your decisions affect the outcome of the story for the game The Witcher series.
Character Customization
CD Projeckt Red claims that the game offers a wide option for character customization. To a point that it may take an hour or two to get your character customized to your preference. To make things more interesting, customization can include depictions of breasts, buttocks, and genitalia, as well as various sizes and combinations of genitals.
Unfortunately, there has been no confirmation yet if you can really have both genitals in one character or a double-edge sword but based on the game description, it’s possible to have both.
Plot
The story of the game revolves around V, a hired gun on the rise in Night City.. Set in a dystopian near-future, the USA has suffered a vast socioeconomic collapse that has sent ripples around the world.
Cyberpunk 2077 takes an alternate path to that of Cyberpunk V3.0 as a continuation of the events of Cyberpunk 2020. Following an economic collapse in the early 21st century, the United States is forced to rely on large corporations to survive.
In this timeline, corporates have been ruling with power across the globe. Where the US government ended up turning to them for help to impose peace and order.
