PlayStation 5 Event Rescheduled For June 11

The PlayStation 5 event that was originally scheduled on June 4 has been rescheduled for June 11. Sony postponed the PS5 event last June 2 out of solidarity with the protests against racial injustice and police brutality in the US. The said event will be showing off games that are inlined for the next-generation console, the PS5.

In this event, Sony and its PlayStation division will be discussing, showcasing, and announcing video game titles for its upcoming PlayStation 5 video game console.

Jim Ryan, CEO of PlayStation, touted that the event will reveal the first look at the games that will be made and will be exclusive for the said console.

Back on June 2, the official PlayStation Twitter account posted the postponed scheduled event.

It took the company more than 4 days to announced the official rescheduled date for the event.

The PlayStation 5 event will be live and streamed at 1080p running at 30 frames per second and will begin at 1pm Pacific Time / 9pm BST. Sony mentioned that this will eased the show’s production process during a time when many the majority of their stuff and developers are working from home.

They also recommend watching the stream with a headphone to enjoy the reworks done with the audio for the stream.

The live stream will also be available on PlayStation official Twitch and YouTube accounts.

We are also expecting rumored games to be announced during the event. This will confirm of the rumors are bound to be true or not including Bloodborne Remaster, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, and Hogwarts: A Dark Legacy.

So what are you looking forward to this event? We’re pretty excited about the games and hopefully, Sony would let us peek some of the details about the next-generation console including its design and price.
