Once the patches are up, we’ll be sure to give you an update.

The PlayStation 5 event that was originally scheduled on June 4 has been rescheduled for June 11. Sony postponed the PS5 event last June 2 out of solidarity with the protests against racial injustice and police brutality in the US. The said event will be showing off games that are inlined for the next-generation console, the PS5.
In this event, Sony and its PlayStation division will be discussing, showcasing, and announcing video game titles for its upcoming PlayStation 5 video game console.
Jim Ryan, CEO of PlayStation, touted that the event will reveal the first look at the games that will be made and will be exclusive for the said console.
Back on June 2, the official PlayStation Twitter account posted the postponed scheduled event.
It took the company more than 4 days to announced the official rescheduled date for the event.
The PlayStation 5 event will be live and streamed at 1080p running at 30 frames per second and will begin at 1pm Pacific Time / 9pm BST. Sony mentioned that this will eased the show’s production process during a time when many the majority of their stuff and developers are working from home.
They also recommend watching the stream with a headphone to enjoy the reworks done with the audio for the stream.
The live stream will also be available on PlayStation official Twitch and YouTube accounts.
So what are you looking forward to this event? We’re pretty excited about the games and hopefully, Sony would let us peek some of the details about the next-generation console including its design and price.
If you have been following Cyberpunk 2077 you already know that developer CD Projeckt Red uploads new screenshots every once in a while on the official website of the game. However, these screenshots are often stylized and difficult to depict if they are in-game screenshots, cut scenes, or created for marketing.
Now, a fan that goes by the Reddit user name “Compxs36” gave the screenshots some 8K upscale goodness. According to Compxs36, he upscaled the screenshots using the Waifu2x neural network. The user accounts also denoised the screenshots by removing the film grain filter and most JPG-artifacts.
The results are stunning. The increase in resolution along with some powerful reworks gave the images crisper and a more solid look. The background images and display got the most upgrade look from the process. Now, the screenshots have a file size ranging from 25MB to 30MB.
Unfortunately, the image file sizes are too large for us to include here. Even before the upscale work, the file sizes are already big. So better head over to Compxs36’s gallery to see, and download them. They make an excellent desktop wallpaper.
Just in case you are wondering, the game Cyberpunk 2077 is set to be launched on September 17, 2020. The game will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Stadia. There is no confirmation yet if the game will be ported to Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
Rumors about the game, Bloodborne, being remastered and ported to PC as well as PlayStation 5 is going haywire like wildfire this weekend. Thanks to a streamer called CaseyExplosion who offered to donate $100 to any racial justice charity in exchange for some insider information about the state of the game and the future of it.
The Twit was then followed by another Twit from the same account saying that she not only knew that the game, Bloodborne, will be remastered but it will also be coming to PC. She also claims that she knows who was developing it.
Coming from the same account, another Twit was later on posted claiming and confirming that the game will be remastered and is definitely happening. However, the Twitter account did not state nor shared any information on how she got this information. She does, however, claim that she got the news from a reliable and trusted source inside Sony.
Coming from the same Twitter account, she also confirmed that Bloodborne will not only be ported to PC but it was scheduled to be announced at the PlayStation 5 event which was originally scheduled on June 4. However, Sony postponed the PS5 event out of solidarity with the protests against police brutality, racial discrimination, and racial injustice in the United States.
Despite hiding some facts about the said rumor, CaseyExplosion also claims that she knows who was handling the game. However, a video on YouTube was uploaded later on verifying all the Twits from CaseyExplosion. The video was uploaded by PC Gaming Inquisition stating that the development of the game was being handled as a joint effort between Bluepoints games, of Shadow of the Colossus remake fame, and QLOC, the people behind the Dark Souls Remastered.
Various industry analysts were quickly onboard and have started sharing details of the upcoming Bloodborne Remastered edition.
Apparently, Bloodborne Remaster will have better textures, models, loading times, support for 60FPS, 4K Ultra HD, and Ultra-wide monitor supports. Furthermore, the video also claims that the game is coming to Steam.
The Tweeter account, Nibel, goes on to explain that due to the upcoming Horizon: Zero Dawn PC Port, which was scheduled to be released on summer 2020, said that it will not be unusual to see an influx of Sony blockbuster and exclusive games make be ported to Steam.
With all of the information posted above, there have not been any single verified or confirmed info about the said rumors. After all, it is said and done, all of these are still rumors. At the present, until we hear any form of an announcement from the rumored developers themselves, we will just have to wait and see on the upcoming PlayStation 5 event. Unfortunately, Sony has not yet announced or released the reschedule date of the event.
And in case you are wondering, Bluepoint is still working on Demon’s Souls Remake.
But in our honest opinion, the chances of the game, Bloodborne, to be ported on PC and remastered is very likely. We are basing our conclusion on the fact that a PlayStation 4 exclusive game such as Horizon Zero Dawn is already set to be up and running for the PC platform in Summer 2020.
The upcoming finale of Season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 2 was originally scheduled to conclude on April 30. However, an extension was announced due to certain circumstances that are related to the ongoing pandemic. So it was then later on scheduled to end on June 4. Unfortunately, Epic Games has once again, delayed the inevitable. Now, it is scheduled to end on June 11.
Epic Games has planned to push things back once again in light of the ongoing protests in the US related to the death of George Floyd. Overcooked is free for a limited time on the Epic Games Store. The popular chaotic couch co-op cooking game that took the market by storm, broke many relationships, and trust is now free on the Epic Games Store. You can grab a free copy until June 11, 2020, and it is yours to keep.
This marks as the 4th installment of free games that Epic Games has given away during their mega sale period. If you missed the list, the store has made Grand Theft Auto V, Civilization VI, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, and Overcooked free for a limited time.
However, it looks like the free games giveaway does not end there.
From the Epic Games Store launcher, another “Mystery Game” is set for a count down. The countdown indicates that the free game will be revealed on June 12 where the store’s mega sale event marks its end.
Rumors have it that the last mysterious title to be given away will be Ark Survival Evolved. The accuracy of this leak has been phenomenal so far in predicting the games to be given away. However, the leak did not predict that the game “Overcooked” was one of the games to be given away.
In an interview conducted by gamesindustry.biz, Sony is full head-on in the release of the PlayStation 5. The company will also be making exclusive games for the next generation console as a way to make people purchase or upgrade to the upcoming console.
We do believe, however, that the greatest challenge Sony will be facing with the newest console is convincing current owners of PlayStation 4 that the upgrade will be worth it. We all know that exclusive titles have taught us to simply wait for these titles to become available for other platforms. So, making exclusive titles for the PlayStation 5 may not be enough to convince people to jump the upgrade.
One particular game that we already have revealed is the Godfall. A video game title that’s exclusive for PlayStation 5. However, the developer themselves stated that the exclusivity will only last for 12 months.
And after that, we’re simply not certain if the game will be available for PlayStation 4 yet. But we, in fact, know that the game will be available for other PC platform stores such as Steam.
There are just many uncertainties at this point on how Sony will take on these said challenges. Focusing its marketing on Dual Sense technology as well as multiple uses of Solid State Drive for the next-generation console will surely be not enough to convince consumers.
Ryan, however, clearly stated that Sony will not leave the PS4 community after the PS5 launch. To keep the PS4 community engaging with the Sony platform, Ryan stated that they plan to make PS5 games playable on the older machine. In that statement alone, it’s already a confirmation that PS5 exclusive games will be time-limited. But of course, this does not include Sony’s developed games, which can take years before we see any chances of them being ported out on other platforms. Which, is a strategy proposed by Microsoft slating that games created for Xbox Series X will also be playable on Xbox One.
Let’s just wait and see for now until Sony reveals the PlayStation 5 and more of its features. Let’s not forget how the pandemic affected the economy and this includes small times game developers that are not pandemic proof. Sony, however, offered US$10 million financial assistance to help indie developers with over 100 studios in vital finance.
Overall, Ryan believes that the game industry can be proud of itself on how it responded to the pandemic. However, he still acknowledges that there are still uncertainty and things can easily be unpredictable. Right now, PlayStation 5 is come, the games are on track, and Microsoft is also full head-on coalition with its launch of Xbox Series X.
